Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd every year, and it’s a day to remind us to take care of our planet. The Khaitan Pre-Schoolers celebrated Earth Day in a unique and creative way. The children participated in a variety of activities that encouraged them to understand the importance of taking care of the environment.
The celebration began with roller painting, in which the children used green and blue colors to paint the Earth. They learned about the planet’s different land masses and bodies of water, and how important it is to keep the Earth clean and healthy. The children also used balloon painting to create an image of the Earth.
The Hand Painting activity was another highlight of the day, in which the children placed their colored hand on a flower pot. This activity encouraged the children to understand the importance of taking care of plants.
There was also a poster that read “I am the Earth and the Earth is Me,” with the Earth in the center. The poster was a reminder to the children that we are all connected to the planet, and we must take care of it.
To further emphasize the importance of planting trees, the students planted paper trees in the sand. They also collected leaves from the ground.
Finally, the students watered the plants in groups, which was a hands-on way to show them how important it is to care for plants and to encourage them to continue to take care of the Earth.
The Khaitan Pre-Schoolers’ celebration of Earth Day was a fun and interactive way for children to learn about the importance of taking care of the environment. The various activities helped the children understand how they can contribute to keeping the planet healthy and clean. It’s essential to encourage children to care for the environment from an early age, and this celebration was a great way to do that.
